As a County Commissioner and a concerned citizen, I have established this web site to offer my views on key issues facing our county.  I welcome your feedback and input. I have pledged to be a strong voice to improve our county for children and families, maintain and improve our business and economic climate, and to improve government accountability.

I believe my years of experience provides me with the knowledge and understanding of the needs of Eastland County.  By continuing to work together in a cooperative spirit we can achieve our common goals.  My years of serving the county along with my past background presents a record of experience, commitment, hard work and determination.  I have tried hard to be as accessible as possible and you've kept in touch with me by your phone calls and letters. Teamwork = Success.

As we go forward together, pledging to preserver the quality of life in our community, let us all maintain our commitment to excellence while facing each new challenge.

When we say we pledge to preserve the quality of life, we simply mean that we will try to be good stewards of our county, keeping it a safe place to live, work and raise our families; to provide a transportation network that allows you to get from one place to another efficiently; to put your tax dollars to the best possible use; to encourage responsible economic development and to properly manage growth. 

The time has come that we promote new business to come into our county so that our children will not have to move off to find quality jobs for them and their families.

We can turn these events around if we all pull together. Eastland County's potential is unlimited. In order to unleash that potential, we need to utilize the limited resources available to us more effectively and efficiently with strong leadership, strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, collaboration, and a shared vision of the future.
